Lake Tahoe Balloons, in operation since 1992, proudly presents one of
the most beautiful and unique hot air balloon adventures in the world.
Inflate, launch and land from the "Tahoe Flyer", the world's
first and only U.S.coast guard certified balloon launch and recovery aircraft
carrier vessel. Float silently over the "Jewel of the Sierra"
in one of our brand new, state of the art, 2002 hot air balloons. Couple
this astounding alpine setting with hot air ballooning and you have the
adventure of a lifetime, where maritime leisure meets aviation sightseeing!
Flights begin shortly after sunrise when conditions are the best, weather
permitting. Free shuttle service is available to our launch site from
South Shore lodging properties. Once onboard the "Tahoe Flyer",
you will enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast served the duration of the
morning, approximately a one hour flight over Lake Tahoe, a champagne
and mimosa toast celebration with our pilot, and a beautiful logo souvenir
to help you always remember this once in a lifetime experience!
Operations are year round with lake flights operating from approximately
May thru September and Carson Valley flights operating approximately October
thru April. Reservations are necessary and accepted up to one day in advance,
based on availability. All flights are weather permitting.

Over Lake Tahoe
In 1993 this company was the first to offer hot air balloon flights over
South Lake Tahoe. Their balloons are new state-of-the-art equipment, certified
and registered by the FAA. Their pilots are commercial and instructor
rated with over 21 years of ballooning and aviation experience. Their
vessel is U.S. Coast Guard certified and operated by a licensed captain.
Your ballooning adventure will begin at sunrise and end approximately
three hours later. Flights take off from the South Lake Tahoe Airport.
After flying out over beautiful meadows, you'll soar high above one of
the world's most beautiful lakes where you can view mountains beyond mountains
in every direction. As the flight descends down over the lake, you'll
be floating peacefully just above the water.
When your balloon flight is over, you'll land on the forty-foot trimaran
power boat, "Vivid Dreams." During the cruise back to shore you'll
be treated to a champagne and orange juice toast, fruit, French pastries,
cheese and crackers, beverages and a number of other amenities.
All flights are by reservation and are scheduled weather permitting. Next
day reservations can usually be accommodated. Call for details, rates
