Security Deposit & Damages
Each rental unit has a required security deposit equal
to one night's rental rate. Any damage to the property,
other than normal wear and tear, is the responsibility
of the tenant. Assessment of any such damages is
determined by the property management company of
the property in which you are staying. Occupant is
liable for any damages to the premises and to the
furnishings, equipment, and household items therein,
which occur during occupancy, excluding normal wear
and tear. Damages include, but are not limited to
long distance charges. Each condominium, home or
cabin has a private telephone which is not connected
to a central switchboard. Local calls are free, but
all long distance calls must be charged to a telephone
credit card, major credit card or to your home phone.
Deposit Cancellation Policy
A deposit, equal to one night's rent of the unit, is
due and payable to Tahoe Keys Resort / Lake Tahoe
Reservation Bureau at the time of booking your reservation.
Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival
date (60 days during the Christmas / New Years Holiday).
All monies are nonrefundable. Optional travel insurance
may be purchased anytime prior to making the final
reservation payment. Travel insurance guarantees
that in the event of a medical emergency or weather
hindrances, you will receive a full refund, less
a processing fee. Please ask a reservationist for
additional information.
Check-In / Check-Out
Upon receipt of your payment, your Reservation Confirmation
will be mailed to you. Enclosed will be the office
address with directions. If you plan to arrive after
hours, please let our office know within 24 hours
of arrival. There will be a $15.00 cash late check-in
fee, payable at check-in. Keys will not be given
out until a signed security form and deposit are
on file at the Tahoe Keys Resort / Lake Tahoe Reservation
Bureau office.

Check-In / Check-Out Times
Guaranteed check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out is
10:00 a.m. If your arrival to Lake Tahoe is earlier
in the day, please consult with a reservationist
on the arrival day for a possible early check-in.
Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs.
However, there is no guarantee that the property
will be available earlier than normal. Please remember
that there are other guests using the properties.
Rates
Descriptions and rates are subject to change without
notice. Taxes and service charges are not included
in the quoted nightly rate. Although each property
will be completely equipped for rental purposes,
we cannot accept responsibility for aesthetic conflicts.
We reserve the right to change units without notice,
for any reason.
Maximum Occupancy
Each property has a specific maximum occupancy. You
are responsible for selecting a unit appropriate
to the number of guests that are to occupy the unit.
Check the property description page or consult with
a reservationist regarding the maximum occupancy
of the specific property in which you are interested.
Smoking
Generally, most properties are nonsmoking. However,
each property has its own policy regarding smoking.
Please consult with a reservationist for the smoking
policy of the property you would like to rent. If
you are a smoker, the property management company
has the right to substitute a different and comparable
unit without notice.
Pets
Most properties do not allow pets. There are a few
properties that do allow pets. If you want to bring
your pet, you must notify the reservationist when
you book your reservation. The acceptance of pets
must be prearranged and approved by the Tahoe Keys
Resort / Lake Tahoe Reservation Bureau and there
are no exceptions. There will be a $25 pet-cleaning
fee added to the total cost of your reservation.
Upon check-in, a $100 pet deposit will be required.
You will be held responsible for any damages your
pet might do to your rental property.
Amenities
A "starter kit" of bath tissue, paper towels,
trash bags, bath soap, shampoo, laundry detergent and
dishwashing detergent is supplied. Towels and bed linens
are also provided for the number of people each property
sleeps.
Maid Services
A departure cleaning fee is included in the cost of
your reservation. However, if you would like daily
maid service, it may be arranged prior to your arrival
or upon check-in for an additional fee. Consult with
a reservationist for specific services available
at your property and corresponding fees.
Emergencies
We provide emergency services on a 24-hour basis. However,
these services are subject to evaluation of responsibility
and could result in costs to you.
Cribs, Rollaways & High
Chairs
Cribs may be rented daily and weekly through an independent
business by calling "Baby's Away" at 800-446-9030
or 530-544-2229. Advanced reservations are strongly
recommended.
